Website launch for CERA AI: four enquiries in the first week
Design, development and launch for the AI dispatcher CERA AI: four qualified enquiries in the first week, and a marketing team that publishes new pages itself over MCP.
CERA AI is a startup out of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles orbit. The product: an AI dispatcher for freight forwarders. It automates the awarding of transport jobs over email and freight exchanges, capturing offers, comparing prices, running negotiations. The decision still rests with a person.
Strong product. No presence to match it. We took on design, development and launch, built in Webflow.
The problem: dispatchers do not buy software
They buy a calmer working day. A feature list does not convince them.
So the homepage does not show what the tool can do, it shows what the working day looks like afterwards: incoming offers, negotiations in progress, draft replies ready to send. Anyone who dispatches for a living recognises their own job in the first three seconds.
That is the core of the web design. Not an abstract promise, but a concrete picture of the outcome.
Lead generation instead of a contact form
A form at the bottom of the page is not enough for a B2B product that needs explaining. Instead we built an interactive calculator: four questions about shipment volume, where the time goes and freight exchange use, ending in a personal read on the savings available.
The visitor gets something useful straight away. Sales gets a qualified lead with context attached: volume, process, pain point. The first conversation does not start from zero.
The marketing team extends the site itself, over MCP
The most important part of this project is the part you cannot see.
We set the website up so the team can create and publish new pages on their own. Through MCP (Model Context Protocol), Webflow is connected directly to the team's AI tools. Landing pages, blog articles, use-case pages, glossary entries: written in conversation, published straight away. No detour through an agency.
In practice that means:
- A new landing page for a campaign: minutes instead of days.
- A content pipeline: blog and SEO pages are produced in-house, with no ticket and no waiting.
- No agency invoice for every copy change.
For a startup that matters. If you have to find out which message lands, you cannot wait two weeks for a page.
SEO from the start
The site is bilingual, German and English, and built around the terms freight forwarders actually search for: transport dispatch, freight allocation, forwarding software, AI in logistics. A clean page structure, fast loading and a clear hierarchy: the groundwork that lets the team's own new pages rank too.
Compliance is placed where it can be seen: GDPR, the EU AI Act, hosting in Europe. For AI software sold to German mid-sized companies that is not small print, it is a reason to buy.
What happened next
Four qualified enquiries in the first week after launch.
No ads, no established rankings. Just the site. For a B2B product that needs explaining, aimed at a narrow audience, that is a strong start.
What the client has now
A website that shows the product rather than describing it. A funnel that pre-qualifies enquiries. And a marketing team that extends the site on its own instead of picking up the phone for every change.
