Relaunch for MKJC.NET: an IT systems house becomes visible
A relaunch for a Munich IT systems house: new design, a page of its own for every service, and location pages for regional search.
MKJC.NET is an IT systems house based in Munich. For more than twenty years the team has looked after networks, telephony and software for mid-sized companies, from planning through to day-to-day operation. The old website no longer did that justice.
We took on design, development and the relaunch.
A systems house sells trust, not technology
Anyone handing over their IT is choosing people, not a product list. That is what the new site is built on: a clear statement, real faces rather than stock photography, references visible on the homepage. The services sit behind that, not in front of it.
A portfolio instead of one long list
The offering runs from cloud and telephony through Microsoft infrastructure to software development. Previously all of it lived on a single page. Now each service has its own, describing the need, explaining the approach and leading to a conversation. That helps the visitor and the search engine equally: each page answers exactly one question.
Being visible where people search
IT services are searched for regionally. So location pages are part of the structure: separate pages for the regions MKJC.NET works in, each with content that fits rather than copied text. Together with the service pages that forms a network of entry points through which enquiries arrive.
The result
A presence that shows the team's experience instead of asserting it. The client is very happy, and the structure is laid out so that further location and service pages can be added at any time.
